Tiger Airways Singapore just launched a Thailand promotion that includes special fares for travel from Singapore to several destinations in Thailand like Phuket, Krabi, Hat Yai and Bangkok.

The ticket promotions is available until 21 April 2010, tickets to Phuket and Krabi are from Sin$50 including taxes, while Hat Yai tickets are from Sin$60 including taxes.

It costs only from Sin$65 including taxes to fly to Bangkok International Airport.

As of March 2010, 488,000 passengers flew with Tiger Airways, a 51% increase over the same month in 2009.

Average Load Factors – the number of seats sold as a percentage of total seats available – increased 3 percentage points to 84%.

For the financial year ended 31 March 2010, total passenger numbers grew to a record breaking 4.9 million, an increase of 54% over the preceding twelve months.  Average Load Factors increased 6 percentage points to 85%.

Tiger Airways is offering 100,000 seats at Sin$0 plus taxes, for travel between July to October 2010.

Open for booking from 4 to 10 March 2010, the 100,000 seats on sale are for routes between Singapore and 11 regional destinations – Bangkok, Hat Yai, Krabi, Phuket, Kuala Lumpur, Kuching, Penang, Clark, Hai Kou, Ho Chi Minh City and Jakarta.

For example, the Better Than NATAS fares between Haikou and Singapore are only Sin$0 plus Sin$60 taxes.

Tiger Airways will offer once cent airfare seat sale 100,000 seats exclusive of taxes and airport charges. This will be offered 12 destinations including Bangkok, Jakarta, Haikou, Hat Yai, Phuket, Krabi, Kuching, Kuala Lumpur, Langkawi, Padang, Penang and Ho Chi Minh City.

The promotions will be available from 6th to 14th October 2009 for travel from 6th January to 30th September 2010.

The promotion is part of Tiger’s collaboration with Changi Airport Group and Singapore Tourism Board to promote tourism and travel to Singapore, and bring low fare services to an even greater pool of regional travelers.
