Low fares leader Jetstar will continue its growth of international low fares services into China announcing another first with future and first time direct Singapore to Hangzhou (Shanghai)* services
to commence in mid March.
Hangzhou*, the capital of Zhejiang Province on the Chinese mainland east coast, is one of China’s most visited cities by tourists, attracting tens of millions annual visitors including increasing numbers of foreign travelers to its renowned natural beauty and historic and cultural heritage.
Commencing from 22 March 2011* Jetstar will become the first carrier to offer non-stop Singapore to Hangzhou (Shanghai)* flights, which will be operated by carrier’s growing A320 fleet.

Jetstar is, subject to regulatory approval, to launch flights between Singapore and Guilin, one of China’s most picturesque and popular tourist cities.
The twice weekly Singapore-Guilin A320 service, to commence on 3 November 2010, is Jetstar’s third mainland China route and sixth overall Chinese and Taiwan destination, in an expanding Chinese network.
Jetstar already operates daily services from Singapore to Hong Kong (up to three times daily), Taipei (daily) and Macau (daily) in addition to Haikou (4 times weekly) and Shantou (3 times weekly).
The new services to Guilin, situated in north-east Guangxi province, will provide direct access for travelers from, and through, Singapore to experience Guilin’s renowned natural scenery and outdoor leisure activity.
To celebrate the launch of Singapore-Guilin services, Jetstar is offering special all-inclusive one-way JetSaver Light fares from Sin$ 168.
The sale will commence at midday on Thursday, 26 August 2010 until midnight Thursday, 26 August 2010 unless seats sell out prior. 45 Winners awarded with $9,000 worth of Jetstar travel vouchers. 45 Singapore residents are now on their way to enjoying more good times with low fares leader Jetstar.
Each winner in Jetstar’s ‘Be a Star this National Day’ contest won a $200 Jetstar flight voucher and was featured in one of the daily newspapers on 9 August to celebrate Singapore’s National Day.
The winners were selected from hundreds of submitted photographs by Singapore residents showing them having a good time by themselves, with friends, colleagues and family with a Star Jump thrown in. Some of the photographs showed travellers Star Jumping at locations as far as USA, Europe and even Africa.
