Hawaiian Airlines and Cebu Pacific announces new connecting service to Laoag City
Hawaiian Airlines, a subsidiary of Hawaiian Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:HA), announced on Friday that Philippine carrier Cebu Pacific Air is launching twice-weekly connecting flights between Manila and Laoag City, both in the Philippines, to complement Hawaiian’s service between Honolulu and Manila.
The service will be launched on 2 November and will allow Hawaiian customers to fly round-trip from Honolulu to Laoag City, with a stopover in Manila, earning HawaiianMiles awards on each flight.
The flights will be operated on Mondays and Thursdays from Manila to Laoag City, with return flights from Laoag City to Manila on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
To promote the new service Hawaiian is offering a special introductory fare of USD35 each way for connecting flights between Manila and Laoag City.

Hawaiian Airlines launches New Australia and United States Fares
Recently, Hawaiian Airlines just launched a range of new fares from Australia to 10 United States mainland destinations, via Hawaii, priced starts from A$1314 per person ex Sydney, including taxes.
The “Flyin to the USA” fares, in Economy Class, include taxes, meals, drinks and main-screen entertainment on Hawaiian’s flights between Sydney and Honolulu, plus passengers also receive a generous free luggage allowance of two checked items, each weighing up to 32 kilograms.
In addition to Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, Hawaiian Airlines also offers these fares from 17 other Australian cities:
• From A$1464 (including taxes) ex Gold Coast, Maroochydore, Canberra, Ballina, Hervey Bay, Coffs Harbour and Port Macquarie.
• From A$1654 ex Albury, Adelaide, Hobart, Launceston, Cairns, Mackay, Proserpine, Rockhampton and Townsville.
• From A$1814 ex Perth.
The fares quoted are available for sale until 31 October 2009, for travel between 22 January – 25 March 2010, and again from 17 April until 30 June 2010. Seats are limited at these prices and some conditions apply.
Hawaiian Airlines flies nonstop from Sydney to Honolulu every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday evening, with connections from throughout Australia with partner airlines.
Passengers clear US Customs in Honolulu, eliminating any additional formalities after arrival on the mainland.
